Secondary School Computer Project
The Challenge
Computer education in Nigeria is at an alarmingly low ebb. Though it is may be worse in government-owned schools, privately-owned schools have not really improved the situation in their own domain. Most computer training centres are poorly equipped and the instructors are insufficiently skilled.
Mission
The S.S.C.P initiative is geared toward youth empowerment, self-employment and wealth creation practitioners for young school leavers. As it is in line with the global fight against poverty, literacy, hunger, disease, lack of unemployment, crime, and youth restiveness.
The Solution
The S.S.C.P is here to solve the problem of insufficient computer education in the country. Because of how technology is involved in every area of human endeavour, having good computer skills is a must. Equipped with computer skills, people have increased chances of getting hired.
Vision
The vision of the S.S.C.P project is to impact the I.C.T knowledge on students to prepare them for the future.
